Tokyo: AITEN (Amnesty International Tokyo English Network)

AITEN is the largest English-language group in Tokyo. People of many nationalities, including Japanese people, enjoy AI activity together in an informal but purposeful atmosphere.
We hold a monthly open meeting for education and letter-writing at the AIJ office on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. You are welcome to attend without obligation.

During the year we organise a table at several of the international school festivals and similar events in the Tokyo area. We show a human-rights-related movie at Heaven's Door, a pub in Shimokitazawa, on the last Sunday of the month (four times a year). We organise live music fund-raising events at What the Dickens, a pub in Ebisu, three or four times a year.

New volunteers and members are always welcome!

For details of what is coming up (with photos of recent events), maps to venues, more information about how you can get involved with our activities, how you can join AI, or just to sign up for our monthly email notice of events, see our website: www.aiten.org
