平素よりアムネスティ・インターナショナルの活動にご理解とご支援を賜り、誠にありがとうございます。 過日10月14日、会費または寄付金を自動引落によりお支払いいただいている会員さまとサポーターさまに対し、二重にお引落しが発生したことが判明いたしました。対象の方には速やかにその旨をお知らせし、深くお詫び申し上げるとともに、ご登録の銀行口座に返金手続きを進めてまいりました。
また、金融情報のシステム上の制約からご返金手続きを進めることができなかった一部の方には、2025年12月の自動引落を1カ月中止させていただくことで二重お引落し分を相殺させていただきました。
これにより、本日12月12日時点で、二重にお引落しをしたすべての皆さまへのご返金が完了したことをご報告いたします。
あらためて二重お引落しによりご迷惑をおかけした皆さまとこの件でご心配をおかけしたすべての皆さまに心よりお詫び申し上げます。 そして、どうぞ今後ともアムネスティ・インターナショナルへ変わらぬご支援を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。
原因
通常、口座引落に際してはアムネスティ日本東京事務局にて請求データを作成し、口座振替代行業者を通じて各銀行にある皆さまの口座に請求を行っております。今回、私どもの事務手続上の不手際により、請求データを重複して作成してしまったために二重引落しが発生しました。
再発防止に向けて
データ取り扱い時のチェック体制およびシステムの強化を図るほか、事務処理手順の見直しと担当職員への教育・指導を行い、再発防止と業務の適正化に取り組んでまいります。

昨今、「支払い依頼」や「返金手続き」を装った詐欺が多発しているとの報道が数多く 伝えられております。当法人が口座番号や暗証番号を電話やメールでお尋ねすることは 一切ございません。万一、不審な電話や訪問があった場合は、絶対に応じず、まずは ご家族や警察、または当法人の公式連絡先までご相談ください。

【To All Our Members and Human Rights Supporters】Important Notice (Follow-up) : Regarding Incorrect Processing of Membership Fee and Donation Debits
Thank you very much for your understanding and support of Amnesty International's activities.
It has come to our attention that, due to an administrative error, some members and supporters who pay their membership fees or donations by automatic bank withdrawal were charged twice for their October payment on 14 October 2025. As soon as the problem was identified, we notified the affected individuals by express registered mail and began processing refunds to the bank accounts that we hold on record.
For some individuals, the refund could not be completed due to system-related banking constraints. In these cases, we have suspended the automatic debit scheduled for December 2025 and applied it toward the amount that was mistakenly withdrawn in October, thereby cancelling out the erroneous charge.
As a result of these measures, we are able to report that, as of 12 December, refunds have been completed for all individuals who were charged twice.
We sincerely apologise to everyone who was affected by duplicate withdrawals and to all who were concerned by this matter. We kindly ask for your continued understanding and support for our activities.
Cause
The cause of this issue lies in our internal administrative procedures. Normally, the Amnesty International Japan (Tokyo office) prepares billing data for automatic withdrawals, which is then processed through a payment service provider and submitted to each member’s bank. On this occasion, a clerical mistake led to the billing data being generated twice, resulting in duplicate withdrawals.
Measures to Prevent Recurrence
We take this matter very seriously and are implementing measures to prevent any recurrence. These include strengthening our data management and system checks, reviewing administrative procedures, and providing thorough guidance and training to relevant staff to ensure proper and transparent operations in the future.
